DESCRIPTION
The essential oil of Cade is obtained by the pyrogenicization of Juniperus oxycedrus wood.
It is an evergreen shrub, which can reach 10 m in height and has a very thick cup of conical or ovate shape, which often ends in a pointed shape.
Trunk thick and straight, fibrous bark, grayish brown, with sheets bent by three, like needles, rigid, sharp, with two white lines on the beam, separated by a more greenish and noticeable glabels more narrow.
It blooms at the end of winter and during the spring. Its fruits are globose or ovoid, fleshy, abayadas, greenish at first and then red or reddish-red.
This essential oil has been used in a traditional way as a cure for certain diseases in animals.
It also helps fight dandruff and strengthen hair and nails.
