DESCRIPTION

Lavandin Super essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the Lavándula Hybrida plant.

This is a hybrid resulting from the crossing of lavender and lavender.

The main super Lavandin crops are in Spain and France.

They are shrub, perennial and woody plants. The flowers are grouped in strongly aromatized spikes and an intense purple color.

The plant is resistant and adapts to arid, dry and calcareous climates, being very popular the extraction of its essential oil.

This essential oil is mainly used in cosmetics and perfumery industries.

Its harvest takes place during its flowering in the summer months, mainly in August.

Traditional medicine uses it as a remedy for relaxation and sensory stimulation, although it also has anti-inflammatory and anti-pain properties.
It is also applied as an antiseptic and disinfectant and even as an insect repellent.
