DESCRIPTION
The essential oil of Cistus is obtained by steam ditillation of the Cistus ladaniferus.
Plant in the form of a shrub, woody and evergreen, common in the Mediterranean and submediterranean zone.The cistus being a plant of great resistance, is well adapted in rocky and dry areas.
It can reach 1.5 meters high. The white flowers reach 10 cm, being regular and with five petals. Its leaves are gray-green, lanceolate and covered with an aromatic oil.
The large volume of pollen from its flowers makes the cistus one of the most popular variants of honey "Rock Rose honey".
Also the Rock Rose is a potent universal remedy that contains Polyphenols which, processed, becomes an excellent product for Health.
